The Cerro Gordo Jr/Sr High building renovation and addition planning process has continued to proceed on schedule. Board members, staff members and administration have been meeting and working with the architects and engineers toward the final design elements of the project. We have also been working closely with our municipal advisors with a goal of securing offers from investors seeking to purchase the bonds that the district will sell to pay for the project. It is likely the bonds will be sold to investors by the end of this calendar year.
It is also likely that the formal bidding process will begin sometime in January as originally planned and culminate within a month or so with the opening of sealed bids from contractors interested in our project.
